This is an ongoing project. In June of 2021, I decided to start capturing my life on disposable cameras. The ease and oftenness with which I was using my iPhone
camera made me feel like the quality of the photos had severely lowered, and that my life was oversaturated with unnecessary documentation. I felt that disposable cameras, because of their limited quantity of photos and price, would make for a much more precious collection of photos and encourage me to only take photos when a moment was truly memorable. To my delight, I was absolutely right, and the pictures I have taken on film are immeasurably more valuable to me than my digital ones.
Recently, for the sake of using less one-use plastic, I started shooting on an Ilford Sprite 35-II.
